After getting to the lake mid afternoon on Friday after work I had a little walk around and found a couple of carp in the snags. I thought that will do for me as I hadn’t seen any carp anywhere else and with the sun shining I thought that maybe a few more carp may possibly turn up in the area. Everything was soon set up and with the rods still with elastic markers on from my last session on there it wouldn’t be too much trouble casting out to the spots that I had fished the last time.
Despite the fairly non-existent spring weather our superb Century Carp Team guys have enjoyed some great results this past spring with bigguns a plenty for each and every one of them.
Great news all round for the C2 at the moment. We were pleased to hear that the Century C2 picked up another Best Rod award as voted by the readers of Carp Mirror, Germany for their 2012 tackle awards. This award along with the awards earlier in the year from Carp Talk and the Rybareni show award is more great feedback on the C2.
Ricky Thomas bought a pair of Century FMA 12′ 3-5oz rods earlier this summer and we are pleased to share his initial thoughts on the rods and how he is getting on with them. Thanks for the report Ricky and glad the rods are serving you well.

Some very interesting news from Erich Unger – based in Wallern, Austria. Erich is a master rod builder and custom builds Century rods, on this trip he was using Century FBS 12′ 3.50lb rods built by himself.
